BlueDot Bistro – Hotel Yacht

BlueDot is the restaurant of Hotel Yacht in Siófok, on Vitorlás utca, right next to the sailing marina. It is a hotel restaurant but also welcomes outside guests: you can come in from town or from the harbour for lunch, dinner or just a drink. It is open all year.

À la carte lunch, buffet in the evening

During the day, between 12:00 and 16:00, you order from an à la carte menu: Hungarian and international dishes, Balaton fish, burgers and a children’s menu. The plates show a kitchen that cares about presentation: herb-crusted pork tenderloin with vegetable crêpes, baked goat cheese with salad, a chocolate dessert. In the evening, between 18:00 and 21:00, there is a dinner buffet, part of the hotel’s half board but also open to outside guests. Breakfast buffet runs from 7:00 to 10:00.

The terrace

The best spot is the terrace and garden opening onto the harbour promenade, with boats and the lake behind. On summer evenings there are lanterns, candles and music. The wine list is from Balaton: fresh whites, rosés, reds and sparkling wines, alongside craft cocktails.

Good to know

If you want à la carte food, come at lunchtime: in the evening it is a buffet. Prices and the current menu are on the hotel website as PDFs. You can book a table at the reception or online.

Who it is for

For anyone in Siófok who wants lunch or a cocktail by the water, next to the boats, rather than in the busy centre. A reliable choice out of season too.
