First, the important point: the season has ended

When checked, the venue’s own page announced the end of the 2026 season and a return in 2027. The introduction below describes the concept and the most recent season’s selection; it does not mean you will find it open tonight. Consult the official page for the next opening date.

The hospitality side of a prosecco specialist

Mimosa opened on 5 July 2025 as Proseccoshop’s bar in Füred. The ‘Bar & Shop’ description matters: it is both a place to sit down and somewhere to buy bottles. Rather than a restaurant built around a large menu, it is a stop united by Italian sparkling wine, cocktails made with it and accompanying bites.

The Kisfaludy utca address is close to the shore and the Anna Grand area, but it is not a panoramic terrace directly on the water. Chestnut trees create a more intimate, street-scale setting. This suits conversation during a walk or meeting before dinner; plan a full evening meal here with different expectations.

What does aperitivo mean here?

Italian hams, salamis, cheeses and antipasti define the food direction. A shared platter is a natural group order, but it is not the same format as a soup-and-main-course dinner. Coffee can be a reason to stop in its own right; the whole visit need not revolve around alcohol.

If choosing prosecco, describe your taste: do you prefer a drier or fruitier character, and will you drink it on its own or in a cocktail? Treat the bottled selection and the wines currently served by the glass separately. A bottle available to take home from the shop is not necessarily poured by the glass that day.

Brunch was a separate event

Summer 2026 events included pre-announced, three-hour brunch sessions. This does not establish daily walk-in breakfast service. Ticketed events have their own dates and conditions, and dates from the previous season are no longer booking offers.

A bottle or a group visit

For a gift, style, occasion and budget are better starting points than an eye-catching label. If organising a social event, the venue’s own introduction mentions private occasions for 18–20 people. That does not mean automatic availability: capacity, food packages and any minimum-spend conditions need separate confirmation for the next season.

Worth a taste

An antipasti platter with your drink

Shareable ham-and-cheese bites best suit the bar's aperitivo character. Confirm the selection and your group's dietary requirements before ordering.

Local tip

The bar and shop are two separate decisions

First decide whether you want to taste on site or take a bottle away. For the latter, explain the occasion and budget; for drinking in, start with the by-the-glass selection.

The BalatonEats meal plan

How to put your meal together

  1. 01
A drink to suit your taste

Ask for a recommendation by describing a drier or fruitier preference. The venue can also work as a coffee stop.

  2. 02
    Shared antipasti

Choose a platter for the group's size and appetite. The day's selection determines the mix of cheeses, hams and salamis.

  3. 03
A bottle to take home, if that is part of the plan

The shop's selection is a separate option, not a compulsory finish. For gifts, ask for storage and serving advice too.

!

Good to know before you go

  • The 2026 season has ended; the next opening awaits a separate announcement.
  • Antipasti is not a large hot-food menu.
  • Previous ticketed brunch events are not the same as daily breakfast service.
