BL YachtClub Étterem is right in Balatonlelle’s sailing marina: water, masts and sunset form the backdrop beside the tables. The 170-boat marina, private beach, accommodation and wellness facilities together form a year-round resort complex, but the restaurant also stands as a destination in its own right.
The kitchen blends Hungarian comfort food, international bistro dishes and the smoky world of the Pitbox. Alongside the BL cheeseburger and beef brisket burger, the current menu includes duck breast with pearl-barley risotto, ramen, beef cheek in red wine, several vegetarian dishes and a separate children’s menu. The selection is refreshed several times a year.
The terrace seats 60, and the interior, looking towards Balaton through large windows, accommodates 80 guests. Behind the venue is Tóth Balázs’s four-season Balaton concept: the marina, restaurant, accommodation, wellness facilities, winter sailing and events come together as one year-round experience.

The person behind the place
The man who refused to believe Balaton lives only in summer
Tóth Balázs is one of the most active advocates of a four-season Balaton. He shaped BL YachtClub into a testing ground where the marina, restaurant, accommodation and wellness facilities are not separate services but parts of a year-round experience. Winter regattas, waterfront activities, gastronomy and events all serve the same idea: making Balatonlelle a living destination beyond summer.

Kacsa kása — duck with pearl-barley risotto
Skin-seared duck breast, vegetable pearl-barley risotto, smoky sweet-potato purée and jus sum up the venue's modern yet approachable cooking.
Local tip
Tell the gate staff you are visiting the restaurant
BL YachtClub is a gated marina and accommodation complex, so finding the entrance on a first visit is not always obvious. Mention your restaurant reservation at the Rozmaring utca gate; secure parking is available inside.
The BalatonEats meal plan
How to put your meal together
- 01Kacsa kása — duck with pearl-barley risotto
Seared duck breast and vegetable pearl-barley risotto best reveal the kitchen's character as a modern Hungarian main course.
- 02Crispy pork belly ramen
Pitbox-cooked pork belly and Asian seasoning show that the international direction is more than decoration on the menu.
- 03Creamy pavlova
Light meringue, cream and raspberries provide a fresh finish after substantial, smoky and succulent dishes.

What stays with guests?
