An evening when dinner is the experience

Some evenings call for more than a simple dinner: a beautifully laid table, distinctive flavours, a good glass of wine and the feeling that you really do have time to spare. Siófok’s Opus Étterem provides a tempting setting for precisely those occasions.

In Hotel Azúr Prémium’s elegant restaurant, glass lamps suspended at different heights cast soft light across the tables. Dark furniture, subtle gold details and a carefully composed space feel both intimate and refined. It is a true date-night atmosphere, where dressing up a little, giving each other your attention and lingering over dinner feel entirely natural.

The kitchen is led by Bogárdi Zoltán, bringing international gastronomic inspiration together with familiar favourites. Particular care is also given to how dishes look: colourful ingredients, interesting compositions and meticulous plating make the food even more appealing.

Choose what you fancy, then enjoy your main course!

Opus’s dinner concept combines a buffet selection of starters, soups and salads with elegant main courses served at the table. The evening can therefore begin with an enjoyable exploration: taste several flavours, put together your favourite combination, then sit back comfortably and await your main course.

The menu offers plenty of tempting choices. The truffle pizza (HUF 7,990) can win you over with its rich, distinctive aromas, the prawn pasta (HUF 9,990) evokes flavours of the sea, and the Angus striploin (HUF 16,900) could be the evening’s highlight for meat lovers. For a more casual dish, there is the Beau Burger (HUF 7,900). A 15% service charge is added to prices.

Carefully selected wine recommendations can complete the dinner. A well-chosen glass of wine, a few interesting bites and a pleasant conversation: sometimes these are all the ingredients for the best evenings.

Romance, celebrations and a little well-earned indulgence

Opus can be a particularly good choice for a romantic date, anniversary or birthday dinner. But you do not necessarily need a special occasion to visit. Sometimes an evening together, a little elegance and truly delicious food are reason enough to celebrate.

Despite its refined setting, Opus is not exclusively for couples. It can also be a pleasant venue for families or groups of friends, particularly when you see a meal not as a quick activity but as one of the best parts of your evening.

Give this evening time!

Dinner at Opus begins at 18:00. Book for early in the evening to allow time to explore the selection at leisure, enjoy the atmosphere and perhaps crown your dinner with dessert or a glass of wine.

The restaurant also welcomes non-resident guests, so you can share the experience even if you are not staying at Hotel Azúr Prémium. Table reservations and further information on the Opus website.

Why try it? Because Opus has everything needed to turn dinner into a special evening. Soft lamplight, beautifully composed dishes, a good glass of wine and the rare luxury of finally having nowhere to rush.

Worth a taste

New York Strip Angus striploin with chips and signature sauce

The sight of a fine Angus steak can set a meat lover's heart racing. Imagine a steak beautifully browned outside and juicy within, revealing its pink centre beneath your knife. Hot, golden chips and the restaurant's own sauce arrive alongside. A bite of tender meat, a little crisp potato, a sip of characterful red wine, and the evening immediately takes on a different rhythm.

Local tip

Do not rush to dessert!

Begin the evening with a little tasting from the buffet, then choose an interesting main course and leave time to explore the daily changing Opus Signature desserts too. Every minute of dinner is worth savouring here.

The BalatonEats meal plan

How to put your meal together

  1. 01
A selection of starters from the Opus buffet

Start the evening with a little tasting! Put together your own favourites from fresh salads, flavoursome spreads, selected cheeses and crisp baked goods. A bite of this, a little of that, something crunchy and something creamy, and dinner's most enjoyable part begins: discovering flavours.

  2. 02
Parmesan-crusted veal loin with warm potato salad and cranberry jam

Imagine tender veal wrapped in a golden Parmesan crust. The first bite brings crisp coating and soft meat together, followed by cranberry's fruity, sweet-tart flavour. Warm potato salad completes the combination. A true gourmet dish with something interesting in every mouthful.

  3. 03
    Opus Signature dessert selection

It would be a shame to end a special dinner without something sweet. Opus's daily changing desserts offer further temptation: among these carefully crafted sweets, look for the one you fall for at first sight. Then comes the first teaspoonful and those sweet few minutes when the time no longer matters at all.
