Kedvesem Bisztró on Balatonlelle’s Móló sétány is more than a waterfront restaurant: the family venue founded in 2009 has matured into a warmly atmospheric bistro open year-round. The terrace and panorama lead in summer, while an interior with a plant wall and rattan lamps remains inviting on cooler days.

Nagy Csaba began the story, now continued by his daughter Nagy Alexandra and her husband Bíró Zoltán; chef Dömök Balázs leads the kitchen. A grandmother’s legacy lies behind the name and hospitality, and the next generation translates it into contemporary Balaton plates.

The 2026 ‘From Field to Table’ concept rests on the nearby Kedvesem Farm in Balatonboglár. Vegetables come from its own chemical-free garden, meat from regenerative or small-scale farms, and fish from verifiable Balaton sources. It is not merely a slogan: an ingredient’s journey really can be traced from producer to plate.

The essential dish is Balaton pike-perch fillet with mature-cheese emulsion, a crisp rice ball and roasted leek. The clean menu may seasonally feature venison rillette, chicken, roe deer or other local ingredients, so arrive open-minded and ask about the day’s recommendation too.

Alongside refined plates, the place remains friendly and family-like: there is a children’s menu, vegetarian and vegan choice, a dog-friendly terrace and Perlaki Helga’s desserts. Table reservations are strongly recommended at weekends and dinner time.
