One of Balatonkenese’s most personal new dining venues is tucked away in a hidden corner of an industrial estate. Aventura is not a conventional restaurant but an intimate supper-club-style venue: chef Gál Máté welcomes small numbers of guests at weekends, strictly by advance reservation.
Regional ingredients, embers and Latin inspiration
The cooking builds on produce from the Balaton region, live embers and the chef’s experience in England, Spain and Hungary. The menu changes weekly according to what is available nearby; the fixed format is a four-course dinner comprising a cold starter, soup, main course and dessert.
A personal, informal dinner
Aventura’s strength is its directness: few guests, a personal relationship between chef and diner, and a set menu. Rather than seeking the formality of fine dining, it offers creative, approachable dishes as an occasion for a slow evening of conversation.
Important: always book ahead rather than arriving spontaneously. The current weekend menu and available dates are published through Aventura’s own channels.

What guests say
What stays with guests?
This is a new venue, so independent, longer-term feedback is still limited. Public opinions so far highlight quality ingredients, creative pairings and the personal atmosphere.
