Four ways to start the day in Balatonfüred: Pazar, Perla, Péklány and SENZA. Checked food options, seasonal details and links to our place guides.

A morning in Balatonfüred can mean a long coffee break, a warm brunch or picking up pastries for the day ahead. Start by deciding how much time you want at the table and what kind of breakfast you feel like.
We chose four places already in our guide after checking the food information on their own websites. The order follows different breakfast occasions; it is not a quality ranking or a review based on tasting visits.
Which breakfast fits your day?
- A brunch built around coffee: Pazar Coffee Company.
- A leisurely lakeside breakfast: Perla Bistro.
- Pastries, sandwiches and food to take along: Péklány Kézműves Pékség.
- Baked goods and coffee with free-from options: SENZA.
For brunch, check the kitchen’s serving hours
A café’s opening hours can differ from its warm breakfast service. If you plan a late arrival, check whether your chosen food will still be available before building your morning around it. For a bakery stop, daily stock and takeaway arrangements may matter most; for a long breakfast together, think about seating too.
Checked on 19 October 2026. The hours below reflect the information available on the venues’ websites when we checked. Look for current notices before holidays or a change of season. General opening hours do not confirm prices or all-day brunch.
Planning lunch or dinner too? Our Balatonfüred restaurant article offers ideas for other occasions. Further details: Pazar brunch, Péklány opening hours, SENZA’s selection.

Pazar Coffee Company
If coffee matters as much as the food, start with Pazar. At Aranyhíd sétány 6, it offers specialty coffee and brunch; its own introduction mentions Eggs Benedict and croque monsieur among the warm breakfast options. The homepage lists off-season brunch from Wednesday to Sunday, 8am–3pm, while the café opens every day. Table reservations are currently unavailable according to that page. For a Monday or Tuesday visit, check the day's food options before planning on a warm brunch.

Perla Bistro
Choose Perla if you want breakfast to become a lakeside outing. Its website offers breakfast and brunch at Aranyhíd sétány 7 and currently lists Friday-to-Sunday opening. Leave time for a longer conversation and plan one meal here rather than rushing between several stops. Before a late brunch, ask when the last breakfast orders are taken: the overall opening hours do not mean every dish is served throughout. In cooler weather, discuss seating as well.

Péklány Kézműves Pékség
At Péklány, we would put a pastry or sandwich at the centre of breakfast. Its product page features sourdough bread, sweet and savoury baked goods, sandwiches, coffee and tea. The bakery is at Szent István tér 5–7. It can also be a practical stop to pick up food before a walk or outing. The website's regular schedule lists Sunday closure and Saturday opening until noon. If you want a particular loaf or several pastries, ask about pre-orders and collection; the daily counter selection can change.

SENZA
SENZA's own introduction includes gluten-free baked goods, cakes and coffee, with individual products labelled for their specific free-from characteristics. Consider it for a pastry-and-coffee breakfast when the ingredients matter to your choice. Browse the selection, then ask about the particular item: gluten-free does not automatically mean dairy-free, egg-free or sugar-free. Confirm the day's baked goods, preparation arrangements and opening hours directly with the venue. We include this stop for baked goods and coffee; we have not verified a warm brunch menu.
