Familiar ice cream, a new Csopak story

MÁS tölcsér launched beside Csopak beach in April 2025 under new operators. Kocsis Zsófia and Sóskuthy Barnabás brought hospitality experience connected to MÁS tészta in Herend; Zsófia had also previously worked in the ice-cream shop and around sailing camps in Csopak. The name’s kinship with the pizzeria is therefore no accident.

The precise connection to Kő fagyi?

According to the 2025 on-site report, finished ice cream is not transported here from Mindszentkálla. It is made in their own machine, using Biszku Ferenc’s recipes and ingredients sourced from him. The distinction matters: Kő fagyi?’s familiar flavours meet the operation of an independent Csopak venue.

The featured selection included mango, raspberry, cinnamon, poppy seed and salted caramel. These show both fruity and creamier, spiced directions, but the specific daily counter may vary. Enquire before making a longer detour for one particular flavour.

More than a stop in front of the counter

The introduction described seating, hanging chairs and a sandpit for younger children on the green area beside the cycle path. The venue is therefore more than somewhere to buy a cone on the move: you can plan a short break too. Earlier programmes included DJ music and match screenings, while MÁS tészta’s mobile pizzeria visited occasionally.

Come for ice cream; check pizza separately

Keep the two formats distinct. Ice cream is the venue’s foundation; pizza is an advertised additional event, not a guaranteed daily lunch option. If half your group arrives hungry and the other half wants only dessert, first check whether a pizza event is scheduled that day. Otherwise, plan your main meal elsewhere.

MÁS tészta pizza occasions are separate events, not a permanent daily selection.

How should you taste?

For two flavours, choose contrasting characters: for example, a fruity one and a more spiced one, if both are available. That makes the selection easier to compare than two similarly sweet, creamy scoops. For a clearer taste of the flavours, you can request a cup if that serving option is available.

At a cycling stop, park your bicycle safely before ordering; ice cream in hand is not a good companion for riding off. With a family, relaxing in the garden can be part of the visit, but check the sandpit’s current condition and usability on site. We do not promise off-season opening: confirm the latest hours through the venue’s own social page.

Contrasting characters reveal more of the selection. For example, pair the previously featured mango or raspberry with a cinnamon direction, if available.

Local tip

The Piaggio is not a permanent menu

The MÁS tészta connection is real, but pizza baked on site is an occasional event. Base a main meal only on a specific announcement for that day.

How to put your meal together

  1. 01
    Look through that day's counter

Do not expect the full selection from an old photograph or article. If you have a favourite flavour, confirm its availability first.

  2. 02
    Two contrasting characters

A fruity flavour paired with a creamier, spiced one reveals more sides of the selection. Ask about allergens flavour by flavour.

  3. 03
A short break before moving on

Leave the bike parked until you have finished the ice cream. If you want more to eat, only the day's programme will tell you whether pizza is available.

Good to know before you go

  • Pizza is occasional, not a permanent menu.
  • Ice-cream flavours may change daily.
  • Current autumn hours and the price per scoop are unverified.
