At the southern tip of the Tihany peninsula, close to the ferry and the Yacht Club marina, this is a restaurant where the Balaton panorama is part of dinner, not simply decoration. TYC Bistro’s garden, waterside seating and nautical atmosphere are just as enjoyable if you are not staying at the hotel.
Many people still know the venue as Füge Gasztro Kikötő. Tihany Yacht Club relaunched the restaurant for 2026 with a new name and a fresh concept: following its earlier Asian–international fusion period, the current menu offers a shorter, more classic bistro selection.
House specialities include a hearty goulash soup, an oversized pork schnitzel with parsley potato balls, a burger with BBQ dip, blue-cheese gnocchi and chocolate soufflé. It is now more of a comfortable waterfront hotel bistro than experimental fine dining — its great appeal lies in the marina, the garden and the fact that there is no need to rush anywhere after lunch.
The restaurant welcomes non-residents and dogs, and reservations are recommended. Following the 2026 relaunch, the menu and opening hours may still change, so check the official website before setting out.
