A brewery on top of the high bank in Balatonvilágos with a view over the lake. Next to it is a 6,000 m² garden, the Hedon Brewery Park, with taproom, bean bags, loungers, beach volleyball, playground and apartments.
Story
Hedon started in 2014 as a gypsy brewery founded by three guerrilla brewers, among them Antal Németh, who created Charlie Firpo. Brewing began in Balatonvilágos in August 2015 with a Credo Smash IPA, followed by Charlie and Johnny Firpo, Helmut, Indian Summer and the pineapple Colada IPA.
Beers
They call the Balatonvilágosi Pilsner their most Balaton beer, on tap at many lakeside venues. The webshop has Charlie rye APA, Helmut Bavarian wheat, Medúza, Chessie, HedonBird and a sour cherry beer, plus soft drinks.
The Brewery Park
Taproom open spring to autumn, weekend events, pub quiz, film nights, guest chef days, beach volleyball. Brewery tours by appointment for over-18s. Weddings and company events; five apartments on site. Child- and dog-friendly.
