A large, IFS-audited small brewery at Kossuth Lajos utca 26 in the western basin, a few kilometres from Keszthely, with a brand shop at the entrance.
Story
The family’s brewing goes back to the 1990s. Founder Sándor Király hauled freight for German companies after 1989, which led to beer and brewery building. The family built one of Hungary’s first small breweries and, by their account, more than 150 breweries at home and abroad. Today his children run it; managing directors are Gergely Király and Henrietta Baranya.
Beers
Sörművek is the local brand: Fater lager (successor of the gold-winning Király beer), Boxer wheat, Cekker sour cherry, Bojler IPA, Malina raspberry wheat. The Sörműhely range launched in 2023: pils, lager, APA, IPA, mango IPA, stout, walnut stout, witbier, raspberry wheat and radlers. They also contract-brew.
